Franciacorta Golf Club

The wealth of water of this Franciacorta enclave has also been exploited by the designers of the Franciacorta Golf Club – the architects Pete Dye and Marco Croze – who have been able to create a technically demanding and full of charm and, at the same time, “sweet” path like the territory that hosts it and perfectly integrated into the surrounding natural context. Over the years the Franciacorta Golf Club has hosted many national and international championships.

An unforgettable food and wine itinerary along which it is possible to savour local specialities directly in their place of production: the fragrances, colours and flavours of a wine-making tradition par excellence, among the endless hillside vineyards of the Franciacorta overlooking Lake Iseo, as well as design wine cellars created by famous architects.

Facilitate by climatic conditions and a particular morainic terrain, wine cultivation has been present for millennia, as evidenced also by Roman authors, including Pliny and Virgil. The area is also of great cultural and landscape interest, for example here is the oldest cave painting site in Europe, the recently deceased artist Christo created one of his most spectacular land-art works right here “The Floating Piers “, and always here we find Montisola, the third best European tourist resort in 2019.
