«Tonight, I could have reached Verona, but I would have let escape a marvel of the nature, an enchanting sight, Lake Garda; I did not want to miss it, and I was beautifully rewarded for this diversion. ” – Wolfgang Goethe, Journey to Italy, 12 September 1786.
Two and a half centuries have passed since the writing of that famous sentence. Today I can assure you that Lake Garda is, if possible, even more beautiful.
Of course, when Goethe passed through, nature was predominant, but compared to the German author, today the tourist can enjoy a greater advantage: staying in a territory magically transformed into a kingdom of hospitality.
