WHERE YOU WILL PLAY

  • Founded in 1971 by the Agnelli family, the club was created with an 18-hole course entirely designed by the famous architect Robert Trent Jones Senior and inaugurated in the same year. Even today, the Allianz Course is known for having hosted numerous great tournaments including four Italian Open and two European Amateur Team Championships. In 2006, the project was completed on the second course, the Allianz Bank Course designed by architects Micheal Hurdzan and Dana Fry, transforming the club into a 36-hole golf club.

An evocative location makes Royal Park I Roveri unique in Europe: surrounded by the Olympic Alps and immersed in the La Mandria Natural Park, the club is just a short walk from the Reggia di Venaria Reale, the largest of the Savoy residences of considerable architectural and cultural importance, built in 1651 for the hunting parties of Duke Charles Emmanuel II. On the outskirts of the city of Turin, Italy’s first capital, the club has easy access to the airports of Turin Caselle and Milan Malpensa, thus achieving a perfect balance between nature and modern comfort.
In the La Mandria reserve area, natural factors such as latitude and altitude, as well as the proximity to the mountain range, make the climate almost optimal, with hardly any windy days. Temperatures from April to October favour pleasant play and allow you to enjoy the majestic landscapes along the courses.

  • Torino Golf Club was founded in 1920, the inspired idea of 11 people with unbounded passion and determination in the years of reconstruction following the First World War.

The final site was only found in 1956, in the current location of La Mandria, one of the most beautiful and charming regional parks in the Po river plain, previously the Royal House of Savoy’s game reserve, only a stone’s throw from the Baroque splendour of Reggia di Venaria Reale palace. Among the many events that mark its golfing history, it is worth mentioning the 1999 Italian Open, organised and held at the club during the enlightened presidency of Sergio Pininfarina and the 70° Open d’Italia Lindt 2013 and 71° Open d’Italia by Damiani during the presidency of Lorenzo Silva.

Torino golf club is the stomping ground of Edoardo and Francesco Molinari, international champions and standard bearers for Italy (as well as for the club itself) in the world’s biggest international golfing tournaments: two names and two champions, born and raised on this Turin golf course and who added the 2009 World Cup and the 2010 and 2012 editions of the Ryder Cup (European team) to the club’s roll of honour, two trophies that very few golf courses in the world can display in their Club House’s trophy cabinet.
